INFOMERCIAL! INFOMERCIAL! This is nothing but a video catalog for gloppy "collectible" Santa Claus figures that cost from around $200-$16,000 each, with the average being around $500. Each figurine is shown in close-up with the pertinent details carefully pointed out. Some are tasteless (Santa as The Good Shepherd; apparently Christ doesn't fill the role any more) and some just plain weird (Santa in Native American regalia). The name, address and phone of each "artist" are given after each doll is shown. This is not a history of dolls, a guide to doll collecting, nor a history of representations of Santa Claus in America, but simply a video buying guide. Not recommended. (R. Reagan)
