Exercising has come a long way since we were doing toe-touches with Jack LaLaine, and the Targeted Sports Training Series shows just how far we've come. Not your ordinary aerobics videos, these tapes each focus on training your body and mind for a specific sport using a non-impact total body conditioning workout, stretching and flexibility exercises, strength training using weight machines and free-weights, as well as general relaxation, performance enhancement, and safety tips. Cycling features experts Carey Bond and Blair French who guide viewers through the 30 minute workout, flexibility exercises and weight movements. They point out correct performance methods and ways to prevent injuries while training and cycling, in-season and off-season. The video also includes an interview with Ray Browning, award-winning triathlete. Whistler, British Columbia provides a beautiful backdrop for this solid instructional tape. The other two titles are: Running and Skiing. Recommended. Aud: J, H, C, P. (L. Stevens)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
