Parents (and educators) will find a wealth of information on a very hot topic in What Every Parent Should Know About A.D.D. (Attention Deficit Disorder). A group of experts in the field present their various opinions in an interesting, if somewhat overlong, roundtable forum, followed by excerpts from other videos on A.D.D. This, in my opinion, is the most interesting aspect of the production, since it gives the viewer a chance to see what else is available in this area and how each individual therapist approaches the subject. Finally, there is a question-and-answer session with Dr. Robert Hunt of Vanderbilt University, concluding with a listing of books, videos, and other materials on A.D.D. This is a solid work which deserves widespread availability in public libraries. Recommended. Aud: P. (J. Carlson)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
