This is a heartwarming and heart-rendering video about how to cope with the death of a loved one. Heather is a young woman who was critically injured in a car accident, left first in a hospital, then in a nursing home, without much hope of recovery. Her family decides to bring her home to die. Straight talk from her mother and other family and friends provides a model of going through the dying process for the dying person and her loved ones. Obviously, this video is made for people in similar situations, but we can all use a lesson in courage and compassion in facing death. Perfect for a hospital or hospice library; this is also recommended for larger libraries. (E. Druda)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
