Most of this talking-head seminar, filmed at the 1st Annual Women of Vision Regional Conference, can be boiled down thus: women must honor and acknowledge their self worth and motivate one another through the collective power of heart and spirit to transform the world into a peaceful and creative community. There's nothing wrong with this archetypal thinking. I enjoy life-affirming motivational tapes as well as the next gal, but this title just happens to combine ‘visionary' women such as Louise Hay making unqualified remarks like "every critical thought is a form of violence" with minimal production standards and choppy editing. Not a necessary purchase. Aud: H, C, P. (N. Plympton)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
