A warning for “women who are menstruating” might seem a bit wide of the mark for an exercise program entitled Men's Health: 15-Minute Workout, but this compilation of four separate workouts (roughly 15 minutes each) does find Jenny joining male host Terry and co-exerciser Jeremy (although Jenny's contribution essentially appears to be cleavage). With no menu or end credits, the disc offers viewers the option of four quarter-hour quickie workouts: “A Better Burn” (using hand weights in routines designed to build muscle), “Ground Force” (lower body exercises sporting ridiculous names like the “Dumbbell Romanian Deadlift” and the “Single-Leg Bulgarian Split Squat,” neither of which seem distinctly East European), “Jump on It” (weight lifting interwoven with 45-second bursts of rope jumping), and “Build Inner Strength” (sit-ups for the abdominals). The segments are regularly broken up with one-minute rest periods during which the three participants walk around the set and appear to engage in (very fake-seeming) conversation—a waste of time that would have been better spent on more instruction/tips/advice. A professionally-shot but overall unimpressive workout DVD, this is strictly optional. Aud: P. (R. Pitman)
