An excellent example of cultural differences rendering a story nearly incomprehensible, Ai Yori Aoshi-Enishi (the sequel to Ai Yori Aoshi, based on the popular manga by Kou Fumizuki) revolves around the antics of teenaged girls who hang out in a mansion, talk about boys, cook meals together, engage in various other mundane everyday tasks, and even bathe together, while comparing the size of their breasts. No doubt beloved by creepy middle-aged guys who get turned on by nubile animated Japanese schoolgirls, this five-episode compilation (on the first of three projected discs) is rated 13-up, and also features a bonus episode. Not recommended. [Note: Ai Yori Aoshi-Enishi: Bond, Vol. 2 is slated for release on Sept. 7.] Aud: P. (M. Johanson)
