Cartoon brothers Fraz and Guapo Flub are delivery workers for Retrograde Transdimensional Couriers. In this compilation of four adventures from the short-lived Nickelodeon TV series, the brothers teach anger management skills to a champion professional wrestler, enjoy brief fame when Fraz's brain is accidentally shrunk and his mindless babble becomes a new movement in poetry, escape from a pinball game, and get stuck in Prehistorica when their vehicle battery dies. The animation is about par with Saturday morning cartoons, but I had a hard time figuring out the audience for these comic adventures. Younger viewers will get lost in the rambling storylines, while the allusions to Beat poets will sail over the top of pre-teen and teen viewers. I "kid tested" this title on several kids ages 9-15 to see if I was missing something, and when they left half-way through the second episode, I not only realized I wasn't, I also understood why Nickelodeon pulled the plug on the show. A companion volume, Brothers Flub: Doom Wears Funny Tights, is also available for the same price. Not recommended. Aud: P. (L. Stevens)
