In this 12-part series (compiled on three tapes), British scholar Dr. Michael Green, professor of New Testament and Evangelism at Regent College in Vancouver, B.C., confronts modern scientific and philosophical views on eternal spiritual questions and concerns, presenting scriptural and doctrinal rebuttals squarely aimed at contemporary relativism and individualism. Each segment is 30 minutes in length and includes: "Who is God?,” "Does My Life Have Meaning?," "One World, One Religion," "Why on Earth the Church?" and "Truth, Lies and Videotape." Originally produced for European television, this series provides a nice overview of Anglican Church theology, which lends itself to a discussion group format (the accompanying manual provides an overview of the program, scriptural references, and discussion questions for each segment). A solid addition to world religion collections, this is recommended. Aud: C, P. (L. Stevens)
