Not yet satiated? South Park--Insults to Injuries presents more risqué antics from Comedy Central's foul-mouthed pint-sized schoolkids living in South Park, Colorado. Once again scaling the cultural barricades, the fearsome foursome lead off this off-color though often hilarious compilation of four episodes with "It Hits the Fan," which tweaks the excessive attention given by the media to curse words--using the "s-word" (sans "beeping") 62 times in typically creative dialogue. "Cripple Fight" touches on the Supreme Court ruling regarding gays in the Boy Scouts in a plot that has wheelchair-ridden Timmy fighting a rival; "Proper Condom Use" demonstrates what can happen when juveniles are given too much information before they truly understand a topic; and, finally, the classic "Scott Tenorman Must Die" finds chubby Cartman getting sweet revenge on an older boy who duped him--with the help of alternative band Radiohead. Admittedly, the jokes are often crude and offensive; still, as twisted cultural commentary, Trey Parker and Matt Stone's originally construction-paper-animated series has built up an undeniably huge fan base.
