As a Sales Representative for Video Librarian, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our business. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with film distributors, filmmakers, libraries, educational institutions, and other organizations in the film, library, or tech sector. Your primary objective will be to promote and sell our various advertising options while providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
Type of Role: Independent contractor, Commission-based position.
Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and generate leads to expand our customer base.
- Conduct sales calls to showcase the benefits and features of our website.
- Understand customer needs and tailor product offerings to meet their specific requirements.
- Collaborate with the editorial team and marketing development department to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments, as well as competitor activities, to effectively position our products in the market.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the film, library, educational, and non-theatrical sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a consultative approach to selling.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
