Maybe the Glastonbury festival really is "3 days of music, magic and midsummer madness" as advertised, but the filmmakers for this Woodstock-wannabe didn't capture it: I'm not 100% up to snuff on the latest British Invasion, but I'm pretty sure most of these bands didn't make the crossing (Bender? Co-Creators? The Wonderful World?). Even The Verve, one of the three groups I recognized, only played a snippet from a non-hit song. Aside from recording some pretty unremarkable music, Glastonbury's other chief concern seemed to be trying to catch nubile earth mothers naked. Not recommended. Aud: P. (R. Pitman)
