Taped for a PBS fundraiser at the Virginia Arts Festival, Britain's biggest female invader of the 1960s, Petula Clark, performs a 17-song set in this pleasantly nostalgic trip down 'top of the pop' charts memory lane. In addition to instantly recognizable classics such as "Downtown," "A Sign of the Times," "I Know a Place," "Don't Sleep in the Subway," "Call Me," and "Color My World," Clark also performs songs emphasizing her "second" career in musical theatre (including "Tell Me It's Not True" from Blood Brothers), and duets with guests Lou Rawls and Richard Carpenter. While Clark's distinctive voice is not as strong as it once was, the presentation is heartfelt, the audience appreciation palpable, and the legacy undeniable. Interwoven throughout the program are archival clips from Clark's numerous TV variety show appearances in the 1960s and 1970s, more of which are seen on the extras: including a new 33-minute original documentary "This Is My Song" (with Lynn Redgrave, Harry Belafonte, Andy Williams, Rod McKuen and others), and bonus footage.
