Survivors of the Holocaust

Presented by Steven Spielberg and the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation, this moving tribute features Holocaust survivors sharing memories of the good times before Hitler, the horrors of living under the genocidal Nazi regime, and the incalculable sadness of having lost whole families in a moment of historical madness that they, and we, can only hope will never be repeated. Soundtrack music from Schindler's List adds to the elegiac mood of the film, and the stories--some unspeakable, others stirring--are both arresting and unforgettable. All of the proceeds from the documentary will be donated to the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation which will continue to videotape the testimonials of survivors to add to the growing multimedia database that will serve as a resource for generations to come.
