A compelling portrait of the legends (good and bad) of talk radio, this engaging documentary traces the roots of talk radio through modern times. Interviewees include Larry King, Oliver North, Don Imus, Dr. Ruth, Bob Grant, Laura Schlessinger, and others, in "live interactive clips" (according to the video jacket) I'm not sure what the "interactive" part refers to; I called certain talk show hosts (Morton Downey, Jr., among others) pond-sucking scum and none of them even batted an eye. Misleading jacket copy notwithstanding, this is highly recommended. Aud: C, P. (R. Pitman)
