I wasn't wowed by Kevin Smith's one-note directorial debut Clerks (which blew critics away with its tiresome "explicit" dialogue), and this follow-up came and went with barely a whisper from either critics or audiences. An often embarrassingly amateur satire on mall culture--which basically follows a pair of generation-less losers on their Arthurian quest to win back their babes at the mall--this is actually less fun than the mindless activity it seeks to lampoon. Not recommended. (R. Pitman)
