Hiking Yosemite

If I had but world enough and time, I'd pack extra clothing, food, a cap and sunglasses, knife, matches, first-aid kit, flares, flashlight, tarpaulin, and compass, and trundle my buns over to Yosemite to embark on one or more of the seven nature walks highlighted in this colorful and informative production. Ranging from the 1-2 hour walk to Sentinel Dome to the deluxe 6-day, 50-mile plus High Sierra loop, each of the seven hikes profiled offers detailed animated maps of the route, specific trail information (like store your food in bear-resistant containers if you want to have lunch as opposed to being lunch), and scenic sights to look for along the way. Other hikes include Gaylor & Granite Lakes, Mariposa Grove, Lower Cathedral Lake, and Ostrander Lake. Sharp video, pleasant background music, and informed narration make Hiking Yosemite a fun and inspiring video. If I can just figure out the combination of the lock--standard issue on all writer's computers--which chains me to my keyboard, I'll see you at the trail head (of the short hike). Highly recommended.
