For those of you who thought your money muscle was located in your spouse's check-writing hand (and was a darn overworked muscle at that), think again. Building your money muscle--which is located in diversified holdings--is a lot like exercising your body's other muscles: a good workout requires intensity, persistence, resistance, cross-training, and proper leverage. Using the analogy of a quartathlon (a word I just made up to denote a 4-sport event), Money Muscle walks viewers through the basics of investing, showing how steady investment will, over time, keep the investor ahead of his twin competitors (namely, taxes and inflation). Although not a terribly detailed introduction to investing, the program does hit the main points and is likely to appeal to the legions of sports couch potatoes who would rather watch sack races at the local daycare than listen to Louis Rukeyser. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
