Personal fitness trainer Colin Cree and a pair of co-demonstrators lead viewers through a series of resistance exercises aimed at conditioning the entire body, using exercise bands, a jump rope, and a chair. Onscreen text lets viewers know what muscle or muscle group is tied to each exercise. While the instruction is sound, the overall production--in an area virtually flooded with high quality product--is weak. The program has an unrehearsed, at times uncertain, feel to it; Cree's co-demonstrators occasionally seem off-count (or, during the jump rope exercise, unable to perform the movements); and portions of the work space are underlit, so that from some camera angles the demonstrators are in shadows. Not a necessary purchase. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
