A filmed seminar, Staying Fit at the Computer features Rick Shields, Ph.D., guiding a group through the basics of good work habits at the computer. Shields covers good posture, the importance of minimizing movements, the best viewing distances and angles for using a monitor, and the benefits of taking short regular breaks. In addition, the tape offers exercises for the eyes, neck, and shoulders, and stretches for the arms, legs, abdominals, and lower back. While there are some good tips here, some of the program is repetitive, the camerawork is sometimes distracting (this is a low-budget effort), and the seminar setting is not the best way to present this kind of information. Though more wide-ranging (and more expensive), Office Safety (reviewed in our November 1992 issue) is a better program on the subject. Not a necessary purchase. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
