Want to erase laugh lines? Stretch your abdominals. Don't see the connection? Neither do I, particularly, but when you're in the world of acupressure and acupuncture, body parts are linked up in ways that don't seem physically possible. The weird stuff is kept to a minimum, however, in this how-to/informational guide to taking care of your face. Hosted by Meredith MacRae, along with instructor Catherine "Cat" Politte ("Acupressurist to the Stars"...human, presumably), the program takes viewers through a series of massaging/acupressure exercises for the face, and visits with medical professionals about the pros and cons of the latest facial treatments (no, I don't mean Noxema; I mean Retin-A, AHA, and bovine collagen injections). Those who worry about the lines on their faces might want to give Politte's short exercise set a try. Recommended. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
