In this sequel to The World of Sign Language (VL-7/94), instructor Sherry R. Clifton presents 13 additional lessons comprised of 25-35 signs plus practice sentences. Most of the time the words in each group have similarities (though it's an unhappy unit indeed who sees the relationship between Lesson 2's "marry" and "vomit"). Low-budget, the program is also exceptionally low-priced--especially for a 2-hr. video--and viewers will learn some 370 different signs in all. Recommended for libraries without similar fare. (R. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
