Following a couple named Lance and Susan, this low-budget guide to planning a wedding mixes advice from various vendors (a jeweler, caterer, bridal shop owner, photographer, etc.) with scenes of Lance and/or Susan selecting rings, choosing a gown, picking out a tuxedo, settling on a reception site, ordering a cake, and more. Although some of the information is good, the wedding video arena is crowded, and this is neither detailed enough nor consumer-oriented enough to stand out. Better choices are: Weddings: Warm & Wonderful (VL-2/93) which is more in-depth, and How to Survive Your Wedding which is more budget-minded. Not a necessary purchase. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
